Richard Orlinski was born in 1966 in Paris. After a career marked by various artistic commitments, he turned to sculpture in the early 2000, during this period, he began to develop a visual language based on the geometric decomposition of figurative forms. This research led him to depict animals or emblematic figures in angular volumes, with particular attention paid to light, reflections and the power of silhouettes. 

One of the major characteristics of his work is the use of a variety of materials. Orlinski works the resin, the bronze, l'aluminum, the marble or the stone, he often chooses materials capable of capturing or reflecting light. Polished finishes, brilliance or intense hues contribute to the singularity of his pieces. This materiality, combined with advanced stylization, creates a tension between geometric abstraction and immediate recognition of the subject. 

Among the recurring themes in his work are symbolic animals such as the Kong, the crocodile, the wolf or the tiger, represented in dynamic attitudes. These figures, often monumental, are based on a precise work of volume, where each facet creates a visual vibration. This approach gives his sculptures a marked presence, both playful and architectural.
