Enzo Ferrari: the myth of speed and the soul of Ferrari Maranello

Born in Modena in 1898, Enzo Anselmo Ferrari has had a profound impact on the history of the motor car. From an early age, he developed an intense passion for racing and engines. After starting his career as a driver with the Scuderia At Alfa Romeo, he developed a unique vision that would guide his entire life: to create the fastest racing cars in the world and make competition the very essence of automotive innovation.

La Scuderia Ferrari: the birth of a legend

In 1929, Enzo founded Scuderia Ferrari, initially a racing team affiliated to Alfa Romeo.
It was not until 1947, after the war, that the first car to bear his name, the Ferrari 125 S, comes out of the Maranello.

From then on, Ferrari became a force to be reckoned with in international competitions.
Enzo Ferrari turned racing into a technical laboratory where every victory fed into the design of his road models.

A philosophy based on absolute performance

Enzo Ferrari's approach is based on several immutable principles:
the relentless pursuit of performance,
the priority given to the engine, the living heart of the car,
the alliance between technology, aesthetics and emotion,
the artisanal excellence of the Maranello.

This requirement forges the Ferrari identity, where each car becomes a technical, aesthetic and symbolic object.

A man of integrity, charisma and high standards

Enzo Ferrari imposes a unique management style. Demanding, perfectionist, sometimes harsh, he inspires respect as much as admiration.
He sees racing as an art, a confrontation where daring, courage and mechanical mastery meet.
This strong personality helps to shape the Ferrari myth, a world where passion, performance and drama coexist.

Dominance in competition

Under his leadership, Ferrari became the most successful team in the history of motor sport.
In Formula 1, the Scuderia accumulated victories and championships, attracting the greatest drivers: Alberto Ascari, fangio, Lauda, Villeneuve.
Ferraris also shone in endurance races, including the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans, won on several occasions in the 1960s.

Each triumph reinforces the aura of the brand and the ambition of its founder.

Road cars: sporty, timeless luxury

Under the impetus of Enzo Ferrari, the brand developed cars for the general public, but always inspired by racing.
Among the iconic models:
the 250 GTO, considered to be one of the most beautiful cars in history,
the Testarossa, bold and sculptural,
the F40, the last car personally supervised by Enzo, now a cult.

These cars, conceived as mechanical works of art, combine Italian design, power and rarity.

A living, monumental heritage

Enzo Ferrari died in 1988, but his legacy lives on in every model produced by the brand.
Ferrari is synonymous with prestige, innovation and passion.
The museums of Modena and Maranello, the spirit of their founder lives on in the racing circuits and iconic models.

To own a Ferrari or an object linked to Enzo Ferrari is to enter a world where performance, history and emotion come together to form one of the most powerful myths in the motor industry.
